Boise Cascade Company is a controlled, public company traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol BCC. 28.4% of our stock is publicly traded following a February 2013 Initial Public Offering. We manufacture wood products and distribute building materials. We have over 4,500 employees and operations in four countries.

Boise Cascade comprises two businesses:
Boise Cascade Building Materials Distribution is one of the largest wholesale building materials distributors in the United States. Our 31 distribution facilities market a wide range of building products and services to retail lumber dealers, home improvement centers, and industrial accounts nationwide.
Boise Cascade Wood Products manufactures plywood, lumber, particleboard, and engineered wood products (laminated veneer lumber, I-joists, and laminated beams) at 12 manufacturing facilities in the United States and Canada. Our wood products are used primarily in housing, industrial construction, and a variety of manufactured products. Our wood products are sold to lumber distributors, home centers specializing in the do-it-yourself market, and industrial customers.

do you make?
Boise Cascade manufactures engineered wood products, which, according to the Temperate Forest Foundation, allow the better use of available forest resources.
Our Boise Evergreen™ particleboard qualitifies for Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™.
Boise Cascade produces laminated veneer lumber (LVL), I-joists, and laminated beams.

What sustainable forestry management tools does Boise use?
Boise Cascade maintains independent third-party sustainable forestry certifications for many of our manufacturing locations. We are certified under the Sustainable Forestry Initiative ® (SFI®) Procurement and Chain of Custody standards, as well as the Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification™ (PEFC™). Boise Cascade now offers FSC® Chain-of-Custody certified ALLJOIST® products throughout Eastern U.S. and Canadian markets. The availability of FSC-certified Alljoist products means these products can now help builders achieve LEED® points under U.S. Green Building Council®.
